My wonderful,loving,funny dad was a fit and well man until the last 3 months when he began having pains in his neck and head. He went to the doctors again and again and eventually after being fobbed off by the doctor they did blood tests which came back with an underactive thyroid gland and high blood pressure. They gave him tablets for these. The pain got worse and worse and he said he was in agony. In the last 3 weeks he went to the doctor every week and all they did was increase the dosage of the tabets for the underactive thyroid gland and told him last tuesday to sleep with a rolled up towel under his head! My dad had faith in the doctor and said the doc had assured him his heart was healthy and there was nothing wrong! How could the doc possibly know this without doing an ecg, mri, ct scan? On saturday night 15th nov my dad had a lovely day with my mum taking his grandkids to see santa came home and died a horrific death which i witnessed and tried to revive him to no avail. He had had a massive heart attack due to a blood clot on one of his main arteries. He should never have died a blood clot doesn't mean death if diagnosed early enough the warning signs were there.
Dad i will always be your little girl and i love u and miss u more than anything in the world u were my rock and my shining star. xxxxx

Hello dad sorry I'm its so late in the day in stopping by but we have been away to Whitby with mum and trudi and chris. we had a toast to you today and missed you being there you would have enjoyed it so much. I can't believe that a year has gone since you left us we all miss and love you so much. Lola makes me laugh she aways says grandad called me Lola pudding.

Hello dad not stopped by for a while i still miss you like mad and love u to bits u r and will always be my star. I could do with u here at the moment just to talk to as going thru a rough patch in life. Thats when u were always there when i needed u. Well we got through xmas they say the 1st of everything is the worst. Still miss you and still can't believe your not here anymore. |We had a nice time in Barbados and tried our best to help mum through xmas you would have loved barbados had you had the chance to get there. It was Lola's Birthday party yesterday and she said when she blew her candles out she wished for you to come back! if only it was that easy. I went out last night to the red lion etc and sang your song (forever in blue jeans) on the karaoke Badly may i add and not to your standard of singing it but tried my hardest for you. Love you loads dad and miss you so much. To my friend
Mick you were my friend and helper. No matter what we asked you were always there for me throughout my life. You will be missed by us all and we will never ever forget you. Well, where to start. First of all you will be sadly sadly missed by us all. Words cant describe how we all felt about you. You don't really realise how much you love someone until it's too late.You had a heart of gold and touched many people.
The only consolation is at least we know you will be well looked after by Droris and grandma and Grandad Yaxley.
I'll never forget you and already miss you Uncle Mick.
